1. General overview
The silena.ro platform (“Silena”) is operated by PENTA HAF Technology S.R.L., based in Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County, Romania.
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website and features we provide. By creating an account or continuing to use the services, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the platform. For personal data questions, please read the Privacy Policy published on the site.
Operational / support contact: silena.website@gmail.com
2. Eligibility and account types
Silena is intended only for people aged 18 or older. By registering you state that you meet this requirement.
The platform may include account types (for example Client and Provider) according to the flows available in the app. Your permissions may differ depending on your active role and any verification steps completed.
You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for keeping your account secure (password, sessions). Activity carried out through your account may be attributed to you, within technical and legal limits.
3. Platform features
Silena allows users to publish profiles, explore listings, send booking requests, communicate via in-app messaging, manage appointments and, where applicable, leave reviews after meetings confirmed by both parties, subject to platform rules.
Silena is not a party to any contract or arrangement between a Client and a Provider. Silena’s service is providing the digital tools and usage framework described in these Terms.
Silena does not process payments between users through the platform and does not provide refunds. Any financial arrangement between users happens outside Silena’s payment mechanisms, is solely between the parties, and must comply with applicable law.
Silena is a digital platform that facilitates and organizes interactions between users. Silena does not act as an employer, agent, representative, or guarantor of any user.
4. What we do not guarantee
Silena does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, nor that search results or matches will meet your personal expectations.
- we do not guarantee instant verification or permanent maintenance of any particular status (including badges);
- we do not guarantee a specific volume of requests, messages or bookings;
- we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of user-generated content, except as required by applicable law.
5. Content rules
This section concerns content you publish or that is meant to be publicly visible on the platform: for example your display name, tagline, biography, public profile photos, as well as reviews and other materials shown to readers. Private messages exchanged through the platform’s messaging feature are not treated as “public profile fields” here; messages remain subject to general legality, good faith and moderation policies.
You must not publish or keep content that: breaks applicable law; infringes third-party rights; promotes hate, harassment or discrimination; contains malware or attempts to compromise security; or otherwise breaches these Terms or reasonable instructions from Silena.
Content that is misleading is not permitted on the platform.
Do not place contact details (phone, messenger IDs, etc.) in publicly visible fields to circumvent platform safety and traceability mechanisms where Silena provides such mechanisms.
6. Verification and badges
Silena may offer identity or other verification processes and visual indicators (badges). These are informational only and are not endorsements, warranties or professional advice.
We may refuse, suspend or withdraw verification and adjust technical criteria in line with internal policies and the law.
7. Requests and bookings
Requests and bookings are made through the in-app flows. Users must provide accurate information and honour confirmations or cancellations as supported by the product.
Again: Silena does not process payments and does not offer refunds; disputes about price, payment or performance between users are handled directly between the parties, without Silena acting as a financial intermediary.
8. Messages and off-platform contact
The platform includes in-account messaging. Private messages are not shown as a public profile; you remain responsible for the legality of what you send.
A Provider’s direct contact details (for example phone number and methods selected in the profile) are not typically exposed on the public profile page. Depending on the platform’s available features, the Client may access certain contact details through a dedicated flow tied to a request/booking and through explicit in-app actions (according to current technical rules, including access to contact information provided for that specific request).
You must not seek or share contact in ways that breach these Terms or aim to bypass moderation (for example by embedding contact data in public fields or reviews).
9. Moderation and enforcement
Silena may monitor, filter, hide or delete content, restrict features and suspend or close accounts when there are signs of breaches of these Terms or the law, or to protect users and the platform.
Moderation decisions may be communicated via in-app channels or email. You may ask for clarification or appeal through support, within reasonable limits.
10. Reviews
Reviews should reflect genuine experience, stay respectful and comply with the law. Fake reviews, extortion or publishing another person’s private information without justification are prohibited.
We may moderate, hide or remove reviews that breach these Terms or legal requirements.
11. Account, profile and deactivation
Clients: you can request permanent deletion of your account from your account settings, using the flow available in the app. After deletion, some records may be retained or anonymised where law or legitimate interests (security, evidence) require it—see the Privacy Policy.
Providers: you can manage your public profile and visibility (for example pause/reactivate) from provider settings. At the current product stage, full account deletion may not be available from the same screen; in those cases contact support at the address given under “General overview”.
Silena may suspend or close accounts for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms or for legal reasons.
12. Intellectual property
Branding, design, code, standard copy and materials belonging to Silena or its licensors are protected. Copying, reverse engineering or unauthorised reuse is not allowed.
By posting content on the platform you grant Silena a non-exclusive licence, limited as needed to operate, display, moderate and improve the service, without claiming rights over the platform itself.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Silena is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, interruptions or other users’ conduct. Total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to amounts you actually paid to Silena for that service in the 12 months before the claim, or, if none, to zero, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases the limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted.
14. Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions. The version published on the site—with the last updated date at the end of the document—applies. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance where the law allows.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
For users in Romania, these Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes fall under the competent courts of Romania, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules where they apply.
If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
